Kamal
Alexander Hamod, MD, MPH, Asst. Prof., Department
of Obstetrics and Gynecology, The Johns Hopkins Hospital. Diplomat
of the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology since 1983,
he completed fellowships in both gynecologic infectious diseases
(I978) & reproductive endocrinology (1981), at The Johns Hopkins
Hospital, at which time he developed a special interest in the management
of women with vulvar diseases, vulvar pain, and dyspareunia. Dr
Hamod holds also a master degree, from the School of Public Health,
the Johns Hopkins University.
The Dyspareunia & vulvar pain center (DVP Center)
offers a multidisciplinary approach to the diagnosis and
management of vulvar-vaginal diseases, vulvodynia/dyspareunia, and
sexual function disorders. Dr K. A. Hamod supervises the evaluation,
therapy, and follow-up of all patients. Physiotherapy/Biofeedback
and Psychosexual Medicine consultations, will be tailored to the
patient's needs and will be conducted by Johns Hopkins Medical staff
at Greenspring Station.
